CHILDREN at WILLIAM HOLLAND
Any student under the age of 18 may only attend with the approval of the instructor and staff. In order to register for any class, children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult (21 yrs. or older) while on campus, whether in class or out. Some instructors may require adult sponsor to be registered in the same class.
Our William Holland instructors have designed a special selection of classes titled Junior Rockhounds and Junior Jewelers. These classes are designed specifically for the younger students, ages 8 and up as an introduction to Rockhounding and jewelry making. Our goal is to teach the students a little about rockhounding and an appreciation for the lapidary arts in hopes of instilling a lifelong interest or hobby. An adult sponsor must be enrolled in a class during the same week. Instructors are only responsible for the children during class time. The adult sponsor is responsible for the child during all non-class time, including meals and any evening events.
